Happy New Year and happy Friday, mamas! It's hard to believe it's almost end of January and this is probably the last time I'm going to get away with saying "Happy New Year, ha! It's been a busy month trying to catch and plan for a great year, both professionally and in my private life. This week has been busy and exciting, filled with lots of emails, "circling back", and meaningful conversions. I can’t wait to share it all with you in the upcoming weeks! During my time in Poland, I’ve jotted down my intentions / hopes for 2024 (scroll down to see what’s in and what’s out!) and I’m still 100% on with this agenda.
What are you hoping for in 2024? My dream is that...
we all love fiercely
live life to its fullest
listen to our hearts more
spend quality time with our loved ones
doing things that make us forget to check our phones.
And maybe, just maybe, we end up making this world a better place for future generations. Wishing you a wonderful weekend, and welcome back, mamas. May this year be our best one yet!
focus on matrescence, mental health + holding the mother
accepting that in breastfeeding (and in motherhood!)
two conflicting things can be true
finding joy in every day motherhood moments
community care + mom friends
quality clothes that are good for the people + the planet
paid maternity leave + policies that work for working parents
doing things we enjoy + fair play
mom-focused registries + postpartum classes
judgment in how parents feed their babies
mom guilt + mom shaming
perfection, overthinking + unnecessary mental load
feeling inadequate, loneliness and lack of support
thinking that breastfeeding is free + easy
frumpy breastfeeding clothes + stretched out necklines
prenatal and postnatal classes focused mainly on the baby
comparison, overcommitment and trying to do it “all”
