Packing For A Weekend Summer Gateway || Breastfeeding Edit

Packing For A Weekend Summer Gateway || Breastfeeding Edit

Getting dressed as a breastfeeding mom can be challenging. Over the years, I've build and rebuild my wardrobe to include breastfeeding-friendly clothes while staying true to comfort and my style. My advice? Adding a few high-quality and versatile clothes specifically designed for breastfeeding moms (classic and versatile pieces that come with a discreet, comfortable and functional nursing / pumping access) and pairing them with the pieces you already own and love wearing - is the ultimate secret. It makes getting dressed in the morning (and packing for a trip!) as a breastfeeding mom much easier! In this blog post, I'm sharing what I packed for a four day sea-side gateway with my family in Poland.

________

For this particular trip to Jastrzebia Gora by the Baltic Sea in Poland, I had to pack lightly. My sister and I were traveling on the train across Poland with our four children (+ their suitcases, beach toys and stuffed animals, ha!). My goal with the pieces I packed was to have multiple outfit options at any time and the freedom to pair the jeans with multiple tops (or a bikini!), wear the dresses with different sandals and swap accessories across multiple looks. In other words, I wanted to effortlessly mix and match my pieces... End goal? Chic, breastfeeding-friendly outfits.

Here’s the list of what I packed - I hope it inspires you to pack lighter (and stress-free:)) while making the best of your breastfeeding-friendly wardrobe:

A Classic Black Bikini - I packed a last-season find from Old Navy, recently purchased this one and this dreamy bikini top is on my wish list. Maybe later this summer...

White Everywhere Breastfeeding Tank Top

Americano Brown Breastfeeding Tank Top

White T-Shirt

White Gauze Set - A long-sleeve button down + shorts make for an easy beach outfit!

Summer Dresses - I packed a Rachel Pally favorite and a tiered smoked dress with tassels (old!) for late evening dinners and / or strolls by the beach.

Wide Leg Denim - mine are lightweight (and old from Everlane, ha!)

Black Sandals

Brown Leather Sandals

Sun Hat - I usually bring my Janessa Leone hat on all beach trips, but for this one I picked a visor (easier to store and tie to my bag, if needed).

Visor - got this one in Poland and it worked well, but I always struggle with the proper way to water over my short hair, lol! Saw this one at COS and it looked super cute!

Wherever your summer takes you, I hope it’s a beautiful adventure with your loved ones!
